In our little French musical world, Feel More Band from the Charente is a famous Allman Brothers cover band, just like the Norwegian Whipping Post. Feel More band album "One More" issued in 2009 is great, with titles such as "Dreams", "Bleus Sky", "Jessica", "One Way Out" and JJ Cale's "Call me The Breeze" played just like Lynyrd Skynyrd. Greg Forgit, guitar player and the man with the golden voice, has gone away and now lives in Canada. So Feel More Band is now a quartet and offers us today this little 5-song cd, with the great drawing of Uncle Red who did the same on Red Nose's "Snack Bar Boogie" in 2010. This EP called Drivin' brings us in different musical styles, just like the funky song "Drivin'" in the Southern soul style like Wet Willie. Ludo's guitar gives strength to that Drivin', just before some reggae on "Molly" and its mid-tempo solo. "Dark passenger" is good for his guitar and organ feeling. Then we get the two masterpieces "Supermarket" and "Feelmore's Boogie" played with a crazy train rhythm. Ludovic Geneau's slide guitar is at the top on this last song. We can feel the high potential of the Feel More Band on these two Southern boogies songs, and we hope for more material than this 5-song EP.
